About Hannah

Hannah is a queer psychotherapist who offers individual and relational therapy. She believes mental health is deeply connected to our relationships, our intersectional identities, and our exposure to trauma. By exploring inner narratives, Hannah supports clients with building a capacity for emotional regulation and practicing radical self-love. The couples/relationship therapy Hannah offers focuses on identifying how cultural upbringing, identities, needs, and emotions guide decision making. Hannah’s practice is pleasure and sex-positive, polyamorous and non-monogamy affirming. Hannah’s areas of specialty include religious trauma, neurodivergence, exploring open relationships, gender & sexuality, and examining and dismantling internalized ableism and capitalism. She uses a variety of approaches incorporating anti-capitalist and abolitionist values, Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment theory, relational therapy, and somatic therapy. As a white, queer person, she is committed to challenging ableism, capitalism, and internalized white supremacy - both in her own life and in her work with clients. You can expect a collaborative and empathic approach while remaining curious about your life and the impacts of the stories that have been told to you. Hannah is also a trained birth doula. Hannah practices therapy in Illinois and offers coaching anywhere.
