Join us and presenters, Rena McDaniel, M.Ed., LCPC, CST and Steven Bristow, M.Ed., LPC, in exploring the world of Human Puppy Play.  Presenters will host a discussion of the ins and outs of community as well as what goes on behind the scenes.  Through lecture and demonstration, you will learn more about your clients’ interests and be able to help them as pups and handlers. The goal of this workshop is to provide a firm grounding in the language and concepts related to Puppy Play as well as practical clinical considerations.

Join us for a discussion of the ins and outs of community as well as what goes on behind the scenes.  Through lecture and demonstration, you will learn more about your clients’ interests and be able to help them as pups and handlers.

Meet our presenter

Rena McDaniel, LCPC

Rena McDaniel is a Gender and Certified Sex Therapist who works with folks feeling anxious and lost about a transition they’re experiencing in sex, gender, sexual identity, or relationships. Rena also provided consultation & training for professionals and organizations wishing to uplevel their knowledge and expertise in these areas. Rena is the founder of Practical Audacity, a therapy and healing collective in Logan Square.

Meet our presenter

Steven Bristow, LPC

Steven Bristow is an LPC currently working at TPAN as a behavioral counselor for a treatment grant helping underserved communities in Chicago. In his off time, he teaches classes on hypnosis and kink within the kink communities locally and in the Midwest, as well as doing in-person and Facebook Live Q&A videos on puppy play. He’s part of the local Chicago Puppy Patrol (a human pet play organization), and loves helping connect kinksters with mental health professionals.
