Dr. Catharine Devlin

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, IAEDP-Approved Consultant (CEDS-C), and the owner of Birch Tree Psychotherapy. I opened my practice in 2012 and currently have locations in the Chicago loop and the Northwest Chicago Suburbs (South Barrington, IL).

I have two main specialty areas: eating disorder treatment and OCD/Anxiety Disorders. A behaviorally-trained integrationist, I practice from a Heath at Every Size (HAES), intersectional feminist perspective. Body liberation, fat positivity, inclusivity, and sex-positivity are key values that I integrate with evidenced-based practice (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP). I love working with queer people and am poly/kink/ENM trained, informed, and affirming.
