So often the face of the kink community is thin, able bodied, white and affluent. In this conversation, I hope to broaden this image to include bodies of all sizes. Join me in exploring the world of kink from a fat queer perspective. Discussion will include an introduction to fat sex, clinical discussion, and exploration of our own body image and how it impacts our clinical work in these realms.
- Build familiarity and comfort with clinical discussion around body size, sex, and kink
- Evaluate existing sexual beliefs and values that impact your clinical work and therapeutic interaction
- Expand your knowledge of different types of sex practices as well as guidelines for practicing safer sex in kink context
