About this event

Kink can create a container that can lead people to healing wounds inflicted by neurotypical society as well as to deeper self-actualization. Many of the benefits of kink are beginning to be explained in emerging kink academic and scientific literature. A major area of neglect in this literature has been on the unique experiences of neurodivergent kinky folks.

This interactive presentation will discuss two common types of neurodivergence in kink communities, people with ADHD and autistic people. We will begin by reviewing relevant literature and discussing clinical concerns. The later half will review interactive interventions that Professional Dominant Eve Minax uses in helping neurodivergent, kinky individuals cope in a world that isn’t built for them (i.e. coping with minority stressors & the stress of being marginalized).

Disclaimer: Eve Minax is not a licensed Psychotherapist and does not claim to be.

Please note, this presentation will include examples of explicit kink photographs and videos that are used with permission.
