This conversation will highlight the importance of bringing a disability informed consciousness to your therapy work.  We will explore how ableism shows up in therapist and client relationships, as well as how it shows up in sex-positive and polyamorous spaces. We will discuss connections between trauma, disability, polyamory, and kink/BDSM, and commit to practicing disability affirming care. Participants will leave with tangible ways to address ableism & bias in their work and tools to use in building a practice that is more rooted in disability justice.
