Live Oak

Ideal candidates for this position will:

  1. Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field; or PhD/PsyD in clinical psychology
  2. Licensure at the clinical level (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, etc.)
  3. At least 5 years of experience conducting clinical supervision with Masters level therapists
  4. Experience providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy.
  5. Experience with and commitment to systemically based practice (clinical and programmatic)
  6. Experience teaching at master’s level and/or conducting workshops for professionals and paraprofessionals.
  7. Demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
    • Clinical work with historically and currently marginalized populations
      • People of color
      • LGBTQ individuals, couples, and families
      • People who hold multiple marginalized identities at the intersections of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, country of origin, etc
    • Clinical Training in at least 3 of the following:
      • Couples Therapy
      • Trauma-informed practice
      • Body-centered therapies
      • Creative-Expressive Therapies
        • DMT
        • Art Therapy
        • SE
        • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
      • EMDR
      • DBT
      • Mindfulness/Meditation
  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  2. Experience with insurance paneling and claim resolution
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Bilingual-Spanish/English
  2. Computer literacy (Excel, Quickbooks)

LifeWorks Psychotherapy Center

Ideal candidates for this position will:

  • Have 3+ years of clinical experience in adult and couples/relationship therapy,
  • Have an independent professional license or be license eligible,
  • Have experience working with some populations LifeWorks serves including: LGBTQIA+ and kink/BDSM; clients in alternative relationships (open relationships, polyamory and other forms of non-monogamy); and/or those identifying as religious, cultural and/or racial minorities,
  • Have an interest in working from a depth psychology* perspective,
  • Align with LifeWorks values,
  • Be available to work evenings and at least 2 days/week in Skokie.
