August Stockwell, PhD, BCBA-D is the Executive Director of Upswing Advocates, a small but mighty nonprofit organization in Chicago that provides training and research opportunities that support the LGBTQ2IA community. As a neurodivergent, queer, non- binary human, August’s work prioritizes a community-led approach to both research and educational efforts that centers the needs and experiences of those who are most directly impacted in a given context.
